Keep your coding hours private! With git-privacy, the first self-protection tool for developers has been created in the project and published on GitHub today.
The tool allows you to lower the accuracy of the timestamps generated when creating Git commits. This allows developers to conveniently gain control over how accurately work steps are logged in terms of time, making it more difficult for unwanted behavioural analysis or monitoring. The installation and use of the tool is described on GitHub.
