Paper about privacy-friendly timestamp alternatives at GI Sicherheit 2022

7. April 2022

At the conference GI Sicherheit 2022 in Karlsruhe, Christian Burkert presents the paper “PrivacyDates: A Framework for More Privacy-Preserving Timestamp Data Types”.

Together with Jonathan Balack and Hannes Federrath, Christian Burkert described in the paper how app data models can be redesigned in practice to use more privacy-preserving alternatives instead of the usual second-by-second timestamps. The framework for the paper was previously published.

The slides of the talk are available here. The proceedings of the conference will be published in the Lecture Notes of Informatics (LNI). A manuscript version is available here.
