Case study: Privacy concerns with BigBlueButton's new Learning Dashboard

Learning Analytics Dashboards is a new feature in BigBlueButton giving moderators statistics about each participant’s engagement. In this case study, we describe how this might violate user privacy and suggest an improved design. As a workaround, we show how Learning Dashboard can be disabled.

Browser extension GitHub Privacy and timestamp study

Today we released version 1.0 of our public demonstrator GitHub Privacy. The browser extension enables a more privacy-friendly display of timestamps on GitHub’s web interface. The extension also allows volunteers to contribute statistics about their timestamp needs for a study.
